Criminal Search

Criminal Searches are available by fax or phone order. There is no national database available and each address requested is searched through the local county courthouses.

Criminal Searches require 24 to 48 hours depending on county and state searched. Also, federal court searches are separate searches from county courts and priced as an individual.

If you are considering a prospective employee or tenant, Credit Bureau Associates recommends you order a Criminal Search along with the credit report (and eviction report for prospective tenants.)

The day may come when criminal data will be available under one search but until the court systems are available in each state and county and consistent with their information, we recommend searching by the best-known address(es).
